History of Galaeco

Our company began many years ago with a dream had by a group of ecologists and began to evolve as an organization in 1998.  At Galaeco our vision and goal has always been to develop environmentally sensitive and sustainable tourism in Ecuador.  We hope for the visitor to Ecuador to enjoy the seventeen protected natural areas while learning to live in balance with the environment.  These are also the main pursuits of the Ecuadorian Asocacion of Eco-tourism or, A.S.E.C., of which we are a proud member. As members of A.S.E.C. we are also members of the World Organization of Eco-tourism with its headquarters in the U.S

To better serve our guests, this year, we have included another office to serve the Galapagos Islands.   Our tours offer a very comfortable experience aboard one of our custom yachts.  The yachts allow the visitor to experience the beauty and richness of this unique area in a very intimate manner.
