OUR HISTORY

Our company began many years ago as a dream by a group of ecologists, it evolved into an organization in 1998. At Galaeco, our vision and goal have always been to develop environmentally sensitive and sustainable tourism in Ecuador. We hope for the visitor to Ecuador to enjoy the seventeen protected natural areas while learning to live in balance with the environment. These are also the main pursuits of the Ecuadorian Association of Eco-tourism or, A.S.E.C., of which we are proud members. As members of A.S.E.C. we are also members of the World Organization of Eco-tourism with its headquarters in the U.S.

We are committed to the promotion of Community Tourism within native communities by rescuing their identity and ancestral values.

We proud ourselves in providing personalized services, with certified and experienced bilingual guides. Our packages include safe, comfortable and private transportation all throughout Ecuador.

Our tours in Galapagos Islands offer a very comfortable experience aboard several yachts, boats, sailboats and catamarans. These boats allow the visitor to experience the beauty and richness of this unique area in a very intimate manner.
