GALAPAGOS  DIVE

Another way to experience the wonderful Galapagos Islands is diving. This activity lets you enjoy the diversity of the marine life. This package combines accommodations on yachts and hotels select, with per day diving tours with both activities marine and land visits.

ISLAND HOPPING TOUR + Dive Includes: Accommodation in hotels with private bathroom, hot water, air conditioning, towels, breakfast in the hotel, menu based meals with drink in restaurants, naturalist guide, scheduled visits according to the itinerary, transfer on the islands (boat and public bus), snorkeling equipment and hotel taxes and one day of dive: with 2 dives daily, assistance of the diving instructor, box lunch on board and transfers to the hotel and complete equipment of diving.

SPECIFICATIONS

Please note that diving in the Galapagos is advanced due to strong currents, varying visibility and cold water. Temperatures range from low 60°F to upper 70°F in different areas of the itinerary and seasons. Divers must be comfortable in these conditions, as well as have very good buoyancy and be able to do negative (sometimes rapid) back-roll entries/descents from small boats. Recommended requirements include 50-100 open water dives, experience in currents, ability in removing gear in water and ability in getting into small boats in choppy seas.  All divers should have Nitrox certification.  Divers without Nitrox certification will not be able to complete all dives on the 3 days spent at Wolf and Darwin islands due to depths and time lengths of dives and recreational non-decompression limits FOR DETAILS

Rates include: Cabin accommodation, all meals, snacks, beverages (including beer and wine with dinner), air or nitrox filled tanks, weights, weight belt, up to 4 dives per day on 5.5 days for 7-night cruises/ 8.5 days of diving on 10 night cruises, 3 land excursions, service of naturalist guides/ dive masters, transfers in the Islands between airport and dock.

Rates do not include: PADI certificate Trip interruption or Cancellation Insurance, Diver’s Accident Insurance, International airfare to Ecuador, Domestic Airfare to the Galapagos Islands, Galapagos National Park entrance fee, Transit card, hyperbaric chamber fee, gratuities for guides and crew.
